Hoang Hac Co., Ltd. was established in 2000 with the goal of providing premium molds for the packaging printing industry. In 2001, Hoang Hac built a factory in Tan Binh Industrial Zone – Ho Chi Minh City with advanced equipment imported from Western European countries, and Hoang Hac's printing cylinders were quickly accepted by the market, making Hoang Hac a supplier to most domestic packaging companies.

In 2005, Hoang Hac Co., Ltd. was converted to Hoang Hac Joint Stock Company – recognized as one of the largest gravure printing cylinder manufacturers and a pioneer in new technology in Ho Chi Minh City as well as nationwide.

Also in 2005, following the trend of improving food safety and hygiene quality and the stringent packaging quality requirements of Western European and North American markets requiring all food packaging products to be processed and printed using Flexo technology, Hoang Hac also began producing gravure printing cylinders and Flexo printing plates using electronic and laser engraving technology for the domestic market from 2006. Notably, all technology and equipment for production are imported by Hoang Hac from European countries such as Germany, Switzerland, and England. Currently, Hoang Hac has three electronic engraving lines and one laser line. These are the most advanced equipment available today.

In June 2007, Hoang Hac commenced construction of a factory in Pho Noi A Industrial Zone - Hung Yen with an area of 7,138 m2, and is recognized as one of two printing cylinder and mold manufacturing facilities with the most advanced and modern technology in Vietnam.
